Job Overview:


As a Member Relations Specialist at the Cyber Defense and Intelligence Center (CDIC), you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with our valued members. Working within the Business and Strategy Division and reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional member satisfaction through effective communication, problem resolution, and engagement initiatives. Your efforts will directly contribute to the organization's mission of fortifying the digital world and safeguarding against cyber threats.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for CDIC members, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with members, understanding their unique needs and providing personalized support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions to members.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance member satisfaction and engagement, contributing to the continuous improvement of CDIC's offerings.
  • Coordinate member events, webinars, and workshops, facilitating networking opportunities and knowledge sharing among members.
  • Monitor member satisfaction metrics and feedback, identifying trends and areas for improvement to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the development of member communication materials, including newsletters, updates, and announcements.
  • Maintain accurate records of member interactions and communications, utilizing CRM systems or databases as necessary.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to CDIC's membership base.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in a customer service or member relations role, preferably within a membership-based organization or association.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and industry trends is a plus.
  • Commitment to upholding CDIC's values of integrity, excellence, and collaboration.
