Mission Statement

At Soles4Souls, we turn unwanted shoes and clothing into opportunity, by keeping them from going to waste and putting them to good use - providing relief, creating jobs and empowering people to break the cycle of poverty. People living in poverty want a better life, but many lack opportunities. We provide relief by collecting new shoes and clothing to distribute to people in need across the U.S. and around the world. We fight poverty by helping people launch and sustain their own small business selling donated shoes and clothing. We help the planet by protecting the environment by putting used goods to good use, instead of wasting away in a landfill. We empower women by ensuring they have the opportunity and recognition they deserve.

Description

Volunteer will have to be based in Sugar Land, Tx. We are a branch of Soles4Souls called Dulles Soles4Souls. Our school club has collected over 300 pairs of shoes and would love to collect more. We need volunteers that own a small business and are able to host a collection/donation box (3.5ft by 2 ft).
