About Legacy Family & Leadership
Location:

Mission Statement
Legacy Family & Leadership exists to help families create legacies of resilience and perseverance while encouraging family bonding, and offering communities of support. We accomplish this through group parenting education, peer support, and one-on-one coaching. Our goal is to be a cheerleader for the cycle breakers and support them with the knowledge and courage they need to change how their family has been parenting for generations before them.
Description
We want all parents to feel empowered and equipped to parent well in today's society. LFL is working to reduce social isolation and empower families to break free of generational cycles that put them and their children at risk. We believe that by normalizing parent education we can encourage parents to learn about child development and normal child behaviors and to foster relationships that lead to support systems for families and children. We offer parenting education, peer support, problem solving sessions, community events, workshops, and more.
We also strive to strengthen local families and businesses by increasing the capacity of our young adults in the areas of communication, stress management, and leadership potential. We want to encourage young adults to increase their leadership and management skills to strengthen our workforce and also encourage local small business owners to strengthen our local economy. Community workshops are open to everyone with the goal of fostering good communication skills and healthy stress-coping skills.
