We seek individuals who will help the Middlesex County Coalition for Healthy Communities by expanding the current diverse, multi-sector, community-focused consortium. We pursue and hope to expand membership to include more members of the community, educators, organizations, faith-based groups, law enforcement, and academic institutions. We believe in the power of collaboration. Through our Coalition, we can expand our services and presentations that focus on delivering messages that drug and alcohol use should be talked about in a non-judgmental and educationally sound way and to ensure that all who seek guidance can be empowered to make informed decisions. The Coalition constantly strives to develop more effective strategies to positively impact the health of the community. We are focused on identifying strengths and opportunities within the community, aligning the efforts and resources of our partners, while developing structured and sustainable strategies that integrate and promote sound mental health, effective family functioning, and awareness of the devastating effects of substance misuse and dependency.

We are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities through our quality prevention and early intervention services. Our programs promote sound mental health, effective family functioning, and awareness of the devastating effects of substance misuse and dependency.
Description
Wellspring Center for Prevention provides substance abuse prevention, education, information, and referral services to county residents, businesses, schools, faith-based organizations, municipal alliances and social service agencies. Wellspring is supported by grants, contracts and generous contributions from public and private donors. As a result, many of our services are offered to the public at no cost. We believe that drug and alcohol use should be talked about in a non-judgmental and educationally sound way so that all who seek guidance can be empowered to make informed decisions. Our services are professional, confidential and affordable.
