Volunteers can be utilized in many areas within a nursing home setting, such as assisting with activities. Activities include, but not limited to, arts and crafts, recreational games, sensory stimulation, cognitive activities, discussion groups, and musical entertainment events. Comfort, compassion, and calming presence are the gifts you will bring to this role. Small group and individual interaction needed.
