ORGANIZATION: Y in Central Maryland

The Fresh Mart at the Druid Hill Y is open three days a week to serve the community. The shifts are:
Mondays 9:45-1
Tuesdays 2:45-6
Saturdays 10:45-2

During each shift, you will work on a team of volunteers to assist neighbors in their food selection, check in neighbors and collect basic information, and keep the pantry neat and organized.

Open to all, our programs support three core focus areas of Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility. Operate at hundreds of Y sites and community locations throughout Central Maryland we impact hundreds of thousands of community members. Through grant funded programs and Y Financial Assistance scholarships made possible through generous community donations, thousands of youth who are financially vulnerable and their families are given the same fair chance to thrive in school and in life that each of us needs and deserves.
