Volunteer Opportunities: ✨ Yardwork (April-November): Help with outdoor chores like raking, weeding, and gardening to keep older adults’ homes safe and welcoming. ✨ Kindness Kits (Year-Round): Assemble and deliver goodie bags filled with treats and helpful items to spread joy and connection. ✨ Social Connection (Year-Round): Get creative with a craft project, game, or other fun interactive activity to enjoy with our older members in person, fostering meaningful conversations and connections.

Mission Statement
A Little Help is a nonprofit organization that connects neighbors of all ages to help older adults thrive in their homes and in their communities.
Description
A Little Help connects volunteers with older adults to help them with tasks like yardwork, transportation, and errand running to help them age well in their homes. We serve older adults in Metro Denver/Jefferson County, Fort Collins and Berthoud/Loveland, and in Grand Junction.
A Little Help is based on the Village Model in which local resources and people of all ages are brought together to benefit older adult members and the greater community. Sharing talents, and resources and building intergenerational relationships allow older adults to age safely and thrive in their homes. Studies have shown that those who live longer, healthier lives have close relationships with their neighbors and continually find new purposes as they age.
