This role will work closely with the Development Manager and Executive Director to determine which rescue stories we want to share with our sponsors and supporters. They will take the information gathered by the Content Collection Volunteer and write stories and updates on foster animals to share in marketing campaigns, the newsletter and on social media.
This is a remote role and can be done from your home, but does require you to have excellent writing skills, good oral and written communication skills and ability to meet deadlines. We do not allow the use of AI technology to be used in this role.
Volunteer commitment will vary depending on the number of stories we are following and if we have multiple volunteers helping in this role.

Description
Safe Hands Rescue was founded in 2006 and has continued to grow and save more dogs and cats every year. We focus on saving animals from SE Kentucky, an impoverished area with great need. With underfunded shelters and lack of access to affordable spay and neuter programs. We partner with several shelters in the Chicago area and Twin Cities to save as many animals as possible. We often take animals that other groups pass up due to health issues. Our commitment is to help every adoptable animal in the shelter make it out alive.
