Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Sierra, in collaboration with Luminous Minds, Inc., is seeking new mentors for the LumiPals program in Nevada County. LumiPals is a site-based literacy mentoring program dedicated to empowering elementary school students (K-3rd) through mentorship and engaging literacy activities. As a mentor, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on a child's educational journey and personal development. Description
Under professional supervision, adult mentors are matched on a one-to-one basis with a young person in need of another caring adult in his/her life. Through the friendship, youth have opportunities for positive growth and development.
