We are looking for volunteers to serve on the nenos Inc. Board of Directors Community Advisory Committee. This opportunity is virtual and will require 3-5 hours of time commitment annually.

nenos is a startup social media nonprofit corporation (pending 501[c][3] status) based in Tampa, Florida. Our mission is amplifying local voices and fostering authentic connections through our platform, empowering individuals to shape vibrant communities and drive positive change.

Our Board of Directors is responsible for providing oversight, accountability, and direction to the corporation. To support its work, the Community Advisory Committee is a group of community leaders, experts, and professionals appointed by the Board.

Responsibilities of this Advisory Committee include:

  • Provide feedback, suggestions, and input on the Corporation’s services and its furtherance toward achieving its mission and vision, such as, but not limited to: promoting equity in the community; strengthening neighborhood bonds; and, improving connections between individuals.
  • Provide feedback, suggestions, and input on the Corporation’s services and areas of improvement, such as, but not limited to: new tools and features that align with the Corporation’s mission and vision; glitches, bugs, and other security issues within the services offered; and, opportunities for the Corporation and its services to better support the at-large community or particular demographics.
