Recruiting Organization: Emmaus Inc.

Emmaus is seeking volunteers who will bring care, compassion and dedicate their time to serving at Mitch’s Place. These efforts are vital to ensuring that our shelter guests feel welcome and valued.

Duties:

• Assist with setting up meals and helping clean up after meals, including dishwashing.

• Serve food, including plating meals, distributing beverages, and serving desserts for 26 families, an average of 40 adults and 25 children.

• Maintain a clean, organized serving area and kitchen

Hours Needed: 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Time Commitment: At least once per month

Number of Volunteers Needed: 1 - 4 people

Requirements:

• Volunteer Application

• Proof of COVID Vaccine

• Signed Waiver

• Volunteer Orientation

• CORI (NH residents must complete both MA and NH CORI)

• Copy of Driver’s License

• Kitchen Safety Training with the Volunteer Manager
