Are you a photographer looking to gain more exposure or just support a good cause?

Esperanza Health Centers, a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Centers on the Southwest side of Chicago, is looking for a photographer to donate their talents for our upcoming 20th anniversary fundraiser. We are looking for something small like a jazz trio or a sting duo or soloist. The event is from 5pm-9pm on Thursday, June 6th. Photographers will be either taking pictures of guests at our photo area or taking photos of the general event. Volunteers are welcome to enjoy food and drinks throughout the event. If you are interested please email Amy at abolton@esperanzachicago.org.

More about Esperanza Health Centers:

In 2004, residents of the neighborhoods of Pilsen and Little Village on Chicago’s Southwest Side joined administrators from nearby Saint Anthony Hospital to address the critical lack of accessible health services in the area. They opened a community health center on South California Avenue called Esperanza, the Spanish word for "hope."

Since then, Esperanza has provided bilingual, high quality primary care, behavioral health and wellness services to the community, regardless of immigration status, insurance status, or ability to pay. Our eight sites across the southwest side deliver care to more than 50,000 patients each year.

Our commitment to offering care of the highest quality is made clear by our designation as a National Quality Leader and Health Center Quality Leader by HRSA consecutively for the past five years, ranking Esperanza among the top health centers in the nation for our quality of care.

Mission Statement

Esperanza Health Centers is dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles and improving our patients' health through the provision of high quality health care and wellness services in the communities of Chicago's southwest side.

Description

What We Do

At Esperanza, we are dedicated to providing high-quality medical care to all residents of our Southwest Side service area, regardless of their immigration status, race or ethnicity, income level or insurance status. All of our full-time providers and all of our clinical staff are bilingual and bicultural.

We want residents of Little Village (South Lawndale), Pilsen (Lower West Side), Brighton Park, Archer Heights, Gage Park and the suburb of Cicero to come to our bright, sunny offices for all their medical needs.

But we need to do more to have the kind of impact on our community that our residents deserve. That’s why we step outside the clinic, bringing health programs and services to people where they are. All our services and programs are carefully tailored to the needs and culture of the communities we serve.
