We Rock the Spectrum Cary is a sensory-based kids' gym located in the Park West Village shopping center in Morrisville. We offer camp year-round (for track-out, teacher workdays, etc), but we have the highest volume of campers during our summer camp program, which runs June 16th through August 22nd (10 weeks total). Summer Camp Volunteers will be assisting Camp Staff (Camp Director, Counselors, Support Staff) with activities with the campers, and will be providing care and engagement to the kids. Most of our campers are special needs, as we accept all kids of all abilities. Our team members are trained to handle behaviors and change diapers, so volunteers do not need to take those things on. Volunteers will be playing with the kids throughout their shift, assisting with crafts/snack/lunchtime, and helping ensure the safety of all kids during playtime. We request that volunteers are able to commit to at least one day per week (Monday through Friday) for the entire shift time (8:45am-1:45pm).
