Are you handy? If yes, then we have been looking for you! Help us welcome newly arriving refugees by setting up furniture for their apartments.
It is all hands on deck this summer as we expect to receive many new arrivals. We are looking for a few handy volunteers who can help us at apartment setups. These setups typically take place from Tuesday-Friday between 11am-3pm. This opportunity is perfect for a college student who has extra time on their hands, our retired population looking to get involved in a new project, or anyone who has some flexibility in their schedule.
Handy volunteers will be on-call and will be contacted when an apartment setup is scheduled, typically 2-3 days prior to the setup. This work is quick and rewarding and is an amazing opportunity to get involved with our community. Come join us!
