Do you love to garden and or take care of parks? Well here is your chance to join the crew that is taking care of Grant Park right in Mission Valley. You can also just drop by and learn about the regular gardening group that meets every Thursday from 8 am - 10 am.

Additional Notes:

Bring your gloves, loppers, hand pruners, and rakes if you have them.

Please remember to bring water!

The San Diego River Park Foundation is dedicated to fostering stewardship and appreciation of the region’s namesake waterway. In order to protect and enhance the San Diego River as a place for recreation, habitat, and nature discovery, we are dedicated to engaging people to be stewards of the River and working towards the vision of a 52 mile, river-long system of parks, open spaces, and community places.

Description

We organize many different volunteer stewardship activities each month. River Cleanups, native plant gardening, habitat restoration, volunteer leadership, water quality testing, outreach and education, special event committees, technical committees and more.
