Post It Love is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports elementary school students in Houston, TX, by providing them with uplifting, handwritten notes. We are seeking volunteers to help us raise funds by creating encouraging notes for students and engaging their friends and family to support their note-writing efforts to expand our heart print to other states.
Volunteer Opportunity:
- Choose from four exciting campaigns to support Post It Love:
- Make Love Notes: Write encouraging messages on index cards for students in grades 2-5
- Host a Love Note Event: Gather friends and family to create notes together
- 1000 Note Challenge: Commit to writing 1000 notes and raise funds for your efforts
- Kindness Challenge: Spread kindness and raise awareness for Post It Love
- Each set of 25 notes equals 1 volunteer hour (no limit on the number of notes you can send)
- Create a fundraising page and invite your network to support your note-writing efforts
- Materials needed: 3x5 index cards, pens, and creativity!
Impact: Your encouraging words and fundraising efforts will help boost students' self-esteem, improve their academic performance, and reduce behavioral issues. By participating, you'll help us expand our reach and support more students in need.
Instructions:

- Choose a campaign that resonates with you and register to participate
- Follow the provided guidelines to create your notes and/or fundraising page
- Mail your completed notes to the provided address
- Share your fundraising page with friends and family to gather support

Post It Love aims to provide uplifting emotional support for students through weekly handwritten notes offering words of encouragement and affirmation. Our letters remind youth they are cared for and capable, nurturing perseverance and resilience. While many nonprofits offer financial help, we provide the equally crucial emotional backing students need to reach their potential.
Grounding our approach is the belief that uplifted, empowered students unlock their drive to create promising futures. Despite backgrounds, all children deserve to feel loved, valued, and fully supported throughout their education. Post It Love envisions learning environments where every student has the encouragement required to flourish.
