Our Mission Statement:

Our Safe Space is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers feminine energy in any form, fostering growth and resilience by providing a positive space where everyone can thrive through self-discovery and community.

What We’re Looking For:

We're seeking innovative, hard-working, and self-motivated individuals who share our vision and dream of changing lives-one person at a time. As a small, dedicated team in a startup organization, we value self-driven applicants who thrive without micromanagement.

Fundraising Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute fundraising strategies to generate financial support for Our Safe Space's initiatives, programs, and operations.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.
• Research and pursue grant opportunities, preparing grant proposals and applications to secure funding for specific projects and programs.
• Plan and coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and appeals to engage supporters and raise awareness of our organization's mission and impact.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create compelling fundraising materials, including appeal letters, newsletters, and digital content.
• Track and evaluate fundraising efforts, analyzing results and making recommendations for optimizing future fundraising activities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fundraising, development, or related field, with a successful track record of securing financial support from a variety of sources.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships and effectively communicate Our Safe Space's mission and impact to potential donors and partners.
• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft persuasive grant proposals, appeal letters, and other fundraising materials.
• Creativity and strategic thinking in developing fundraising strategies and campaigns to meet fundraising goals and objectives.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and volunteers to maximize fundraising efforts.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Our Safe Space and a passion for making a difference in the lives of underserved communities.
