The Arc of Nevada is looking for volunteers to assist with our upcoming fall events. These events include a putting tournament, a gala, and a holiday event. Volunteer opportunities are available for set up, clean up, assisting with craft activities, registration, silent auction, and other activities as needed.
We can also use volunteers for our Pal Around with The Arc program. This is a social program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities will be determined by the event, but may include set up/clean up, serving food, taking pictures, etc.
Lastly, we occasionally will have the need for office volunteers to stuff envelopes and other administrative tasks.
More opportunities with A Team NV (dba The Arc of Nevada)
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

Description
A Team NV was established in 2015 as a 501c3 and affiliated with The Arc of the United States in 2021. Since then, A Team NV does business as The Arc of Nevada. Led by volunteers and families with a child that has a disability, the organization has held training events for individuals with disabilities on how to advocate for themselves and speak up for issues that are important to them and brought them to Carson City and Washington DC to tell their stories. The Arc of Nevada is currently working on implementing Early Intervention that will provide therapies to children age birth to 3 years old who have a qualifying delay. The Arc of Nevada also holds monthly education workshops on topics important to those with a disability and social activities for young adults with a disability to meet and engage with others with a disability.
