Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

To grant wishes, we work with community volunteers who meet with qualified children to help to make their wishes come true.

As a Wish Granter, you meet with the wish family, help the child determine their wish, and plan special enhancements throughout the wish journey. Volunteers work in teams of two along with Make-A-Wish staff to ensure every eligible child’s wish comes true. Meetings typically take place at the family's home during weekday evenings or weekends based upon the schedules of the volunteers and wish family.

Potential volunteers must complete an orientation, application, and online background check. Additional training is required.

We are more than a great place to volunteer - our work is life changing. We are an inclusive and diverse group of people who, through a mosaic of backgrounds, thoughts and experiences are united in purposeful work. We are fueled and guided by our values - values that are represented in the inspired people we work with and the transformational work we do every day.
