Event Description: Pick It Up, Portland! is a two-day, city-wide event focusing on litter removal throughout our community. On Friday, June 21st, this event at Holladay Park will be one of four major Portland events with volunteers removing litter from the surrounding neighborhood. Help keep our city and environment clean to ensure it can be enjoyed by all!
Date / Time: Friday, June 21, 2024 From 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Meeting Location: Volunteers will be meeting in Holladay Park. Look for the SOLVE signs.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and dress for the weather. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: SOLVE will provide trash grabbers, trash bags, work gloves, and high-vis vests.

At SOLVE our mission is simple: Bring Oregonians together to improve our environment and build a legacy of stewadship. We do that through facilitating hands-on volunteer opportunities across the state that help to remove litter and restore native habitat through out our natural areas and neighborhoods. The majority SOLVE events are created and led by local volunteer leaders with a stake in the health and strength of the local community. We also offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities from one time participation at a local event, to leadership roles on a local of regional level. We look forward to connecitng with you soon to help care for an outdoor area you love in Oregon!
