Event Description: Join SOLVE and Miller Nash for a community-wide litter cleanup event aimed at beautifying our neighborhoods and celebrating Pride Month! We're coming together to make a positive impact on our environment while honoring the values of inclusivity and unity. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors for a fun-filled day of making a difference. Let's show our pride by taking care of our community and spreading love for both people and the planet. Together, we can make our streets cleaner, brighter, and more vibrant for everyone to enjoy.
Date / Time: Wednesday, June 12, 2024 From 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Meeting Location: Volunteers will meet outside of the new Stumptown Coffee. Look for SOLVE signs.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: SOLVE will provide trash grabbers, trash bags, work gloves, and high-vis vests.
Parking: Street parking is available.
Transit: We encourage volunteers to take public transportation to this event. Trimet bus lines 15 and 63 have stops within walking distance of the check-in locations.

At SOLVE our mission is simple: Bring Oregonians together to improve our environment and build a legacy of stewadship. We do that through facilitating hands-on volunteer opportunities across the state that help to remove litter and restore native habitat through out our natural areas and neighborhoods. The majority SOLVE events are created and led by local volunteer leaders with a stake in the health and strength of the local community. We also offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities from one time participation at a local event, to leadership roles on a local of regional level. We look forward to connecitng with you soon to help care for an outdoor area you love in Oregon!
