ORGANIZATION: Hostelling International Boston

HI USA logo

Are you a musician or performer and would like to share your talents with an international community?

Our organization thrives on the idea of expressing and exchanging culture. Music and performance is one of the purest methods of cultural immersion.

You'd come to our hostel for scheduled performances, play or perform, and connect with the hostel guests.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on material, practice with an audience, and share what talent you've worked hard to build.

In order to volunteer for this role, you'll need to email me at thomas.adams@hiusa.org with examples of your work so I can confirm it's appropriate for the Hostel, and you'd also need to apply at hiusa.org via the website here:

https://hiusa.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/hiusa/projectList.jsp?query.project.id=113

We have hired volunteers to perform for special events, so this could be one step to a larger opportunity!

Ideally, we're seeking Musicians, but we can also look for other performers or artists. Magicians, Comedians, Dancers, Poets, etc.

We have a piano and a guitar, but they may not be in the best condition. It's recommended that you bring your own equipment. We do have a microphone, speaker and mic stand, but the room is relatively small and acoustic does just fine in the space.

If you'd like to schedule a tour to see the space, please email me!
