Calling all passionate volunteers! Join us in bringing the GLOW (Girls Leading Our World) program to life and making a difference for at-risk high school girls.
About the GLOW Program:
The GLOW program is an initiative through Durhams Hope For Kids aimed at empowering and supporting at-risk high school girls. We are currently in the development stage and need dedicated volunteers to help us shape and create this transformative program.
Volunteer Opportunities:
1. Mentors: Help guide and mentor the girls, providing them with support and guidance throughout their high school journey.
2. Outreach Volunteers: Assist in spreading awareness about the GLOW program, reaching out to potential participants and partners.
3. Fundraising Volunteers: Support our fundraising efforts by securing donors and sponsors to ensure the program's sustainability and reach more girls in need.

Durham's Hope For Kids is dedicated to supporting and empowering at-risk youth by actively working to address the issues that contribute to their vulnerability and limited opportunities. Our mission is to create positive and lasting change by focusing on community development, crime prevention, youth development, education and awareness, as well as collaboration and advocacy. Through our efforts, we aim to improve the physical, social, and economic conditions of communities, provide support and opportunities for at-risk youth, and foster a sense of belonging and empowerment. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of at-risk youth, helping them overcome challenges, discover their potential, and build a brighter future.

Our vision is to transform the lives of at-risk youth in Durham by providing them with the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive. We envision a community where every young person has the chance to break free from the cycle of vulnerability and limited opportunities, and instead, experience a future filled with hope, success, and positive contributions. Through our dedicated efforts in community development, crime prevention, youth development, education and awareness, as well as collaboration and advocacy, we strive to create a lasting impact and build a stronger, more inclusive society for all.
