Educate people on history at the HI Boston "Tea Party" with Travelers

ORGANIZATION: Hostelling International Boston

We are looking for 1-2 volunteers to lead the weekly Boston Tea Parties at the hostel. This event shares the history of the Boston Tea Party while sipping on tea! The goal is to share local history and culture and encourage travelers from all over the world to gather and connect.

If you love history, travel and meeting people from around the world, this opportunity is for you!

Currently the tea party is every Tuesday from 3:30-5:30, but we could find another time if it works better for a consistent volunteer.

PURPOSE/DEFINITION and HI USA MISSION

HI USA is 501(c)(3) non-profit education association. Our purpose is to "inspire a deeper understanding of people places and cultures for a more tolerant world." As a non-profit, the revenues we receive through overnight stays and memberships is reinvested in mission delivery.

We bring travelers together in the largest hostel network in the USA, but that’s just the start: from local tours and experiences, to experiential learning programs, HI USA strives to bring moments of cultural understanding to our guests and community members. HI USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, member-based organization that reinvests our surpluses back into our hostels and programs so they can have an even greater impact, year after year.
