Our hospice organization is in need of volunteers with wonderful knitting and crocheting skills for our We Honor Veterans program, Nightingale program, and our Centennial Birthday programs

Volunteer knitters and crocheters create lap blankets and shawls for our hospice patients that we celebrate and honor at these events. The lap blankets are presented to our Veteran patients during Veteran ceremonies, which provides the opportunity to thank them for their service. Our patients and families love receiving these hand-made gifts and recognize the love and time that goes into them.

You will be creating a touching memento for our patients and their family members that they can cherish for a lifetime.

We provide all of the supplies necessary to make these lap blankets and shawls. Knitters and crocheters can select the pattern of their choice.

This is a remote position and can be done from your home. We will work with your schedule.

If you would like to become one of our treasured Volunteer fiber artists, please fill out an application today at www.accentcare.com and a member of the Volunteer Department will contact you shortly. We can't wait to have you on our team!
