As a tour guide, you can give tours of the Medgar and Myrlie Evers Home and speak on topics based around the Evers family. This will include national and local Civil Rights history. You can plan and schedule special themed tours at the discretion of your supervisor. You can also conduct research and gather information to include in talks and presentations. This position is a great opportunity to polish public speaking skills and learn more about Civil Rights history while interacting with visitors of various backgrounds.
