Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and support the development and implementation of our youth basketball and technology afterschool and summer programs. The BCBA will work closely with our program staff, volunteers, and community partners to create a positive, inclusive, and behaviorally-supportive environment for the participants. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and experience working with youth in educational and recreational settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program staff to design and implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and support strategies for the basketball and technology programs
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for program participants as needed
• Train and provide guidance to program staff and volunteers on the implementation of behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavioral interventions and make data-driven recommendations for program improvements
• Promote a positive and inclusive environment that fosters social-emotional learning, teamwork, and personal growth among program participants
• Ensure that program activities and interventions align with the organization's mission, values, and goals
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to behavioral assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and community partners to ensure a holistic approach to supporting the participants' behavioral and developmental needs
• Stay up-to-date with best practices and emerging trends in applied behavior analysis and youth development

Requirements

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a BCBA, preferably in educational or youth development settings
• Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and evidence-based practices
• Experience designing and implementing behavioral interventions for youth with diverse needs
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Passion for working with youth and making a positive impact in the community
• Familiarity with technology and its potential applications in educational and recreational settings is a plus
