Summer Support for Senior Lunch/Activity

We are looking for a volunteer with a flexible schedule to help on Wednesdays from June 5-July 17 with managing the food and service of food for senior lunch and bingo from around 11am-2pm. This position includes making coffee, taking the food out of the oven, setting up food for seniors to get lunch, setting up dessert, and clean up.
Please note this volunteer position requires a background check and Safe from Harm training (our organization covers the cost) prior to starting in early June. Individuals who are under 18 years of age are required to have an adult with them at all times, and the adult will be asked to go through the background check and Safe from Harm training.

Description
Using both paid staff and volunteers, we repond to disasters locally, nationally and internationally. Moreover, we repond to individual plights within Indiana whether the circumstances involve domestic violence, substance abuse, at risk children, homelessness, joblessness and other situations where people need help and training. We have multiple programs and service-specific centers in and around Indiana. We have special events as fundraisers, donation collections and to increase awareness. "Need knows no season" so we are in constant pursuit of finding ways to make a difference and offer the gift of God's love.
