Texas ASCD seeks a results-driven individual to join our team as a Remote Fundraiser/Development Volunteer. This role will support our fundraising efforts to secure essential resources for our organization's mission-driven programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities:
1. Research and identify prospective individual donors, corporate partners, and grant opportunities aligned with our organization's mission and fundraising priorities.
2. Assist in developing and implementing fundraising strategies and campaigns to meet revenue goals, including online fundraising appeals, donor cultivation events, and sponsorship opportunities.
3. Create compelling fundraising materials, including donation appeals, sponsorship packages, and impact reports.
4. Cultivate and steward relationships with current and prospective donors and sponsors through personalized communication, donor acknowledgment, and recognition efforts.
5. Support donor prospecting and outreach efforts, including managing donor databases, tracking donor interactions, and scheduling donor meetings.
6. As needed, assist in preparing grant proposals, reports, and grant compliance documents, ensuring alignment with funder requirements and organizational goals.
7. Fundraise for our annual conference.

Qualifications:
- Passion for our organization's mission and commitment to advancing our cause through effective fundraising.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling fundraising appeals and donor communications.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in fundraising, development, sales, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in using fundraising software, CRM systems, or donor databases is a plus.
