Power of Two is a growing non-profit organization dedicated to supporting communities by providing vital support basic needs. If you are an experienced, influential professional with a passion for helping others, consider joining our tight knit primarily volunteer organization as a Volunteer Board Member.
The Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Serve as a positive advocate and ambassador for the organization.
- Engage in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary for the organization to advance its mission
- Assist in planning and participate in outreach, grant writing and fundraising activities
- Prepare for and conscientiously participate in board meetings (monthly)
- Actively contribute to Strategic and Tactical Planning
- Potentially lead a volunteer team in your area of specialization
- Collaborate with team and board members
- Work closely with board members and executive director to plan and produce deliverables
- Eagerness to participate, mentor and coach team members
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in your area of specialization
- Able to work independently in a remote environment.
