Volunteers are essential for providing companionship and socialization to our hospice patients.
Volunteers can engage in various activities with hospice patients, such as creative projects like art therapy, crafts, and journaling; social activities including game nights, movie nights, and musical entertainment; outdoor experiences like gardening, nature walks, and picnics; and memory-making activities such as creating memory boxes, storytelling, and organizing family gatherings.
Volunteers can also support the family and caregivers.
