ORGANIZATION: Rocky Mountain Care Hospice

Image_202405020829

Our Hospice volunteers visit terminally ill patients that have a prognosis of 6 months or less to live and their families. Our volunteers offer a change of pace in our patients lives and bring a ray of sunshine into the patients days. The types of visits can vary from: light housekeeping, respite sitting(sitting with the patient while the caregiver takes a break), run errands, socialize, read, make a phone call, and play games with a patient.
This opportunity helps our patients feel seen, heard, loved and validated.
