GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:
Secure donations and/or sponsorships for Maison Chance through various channels of fundraising.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and design donation campaigns to collect funds in Ho Chi Minh City
- Design promotional materials to increase awareness of Maison Chance and promote our fundraising events
- Approach individuals, local authorities, shops and organisations and secure sponsorships and donations
- Develop a fundraising plan and/or event calendar with the local team
- Develop or add on to a playbook or volunteer guide for future fundraisers or local staff to help continuation of fundraising effort
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in Fundraising
- Enjoys engaging with the public
- Has a high level of integrity
- Self-driven work ethic. You should be able to work independently, enjoy taking initiative and seeing tasks through to completion

If you volunteer with us for 3 months or more, you will receive the following benefits:
- Accommodation within the association
- Lunch and dinner from Monday to Saturday for volunteers in HCMC. All 3 meals from Monday to Saturday for volunteers in Dak Nong.
- Support to obtain a working visa & free visa extension
- Support from our local staff such as pre-departure information support: emails / Skype conversation / Phone
If you volunteer with us for less than 3 months, you will receive the following benefits:
- Discounted rates if you choose to stay in our Maison Chance Guesthouse
- Lunch from Monday to Saturday
- Reimbursement of travel expenses (e.g. gas, bus tickets)
- Support from our local staff such as pre-departure information support: emails / Skype conversation / Phone

Mission Statement
Our mission is to pave the way to a better future for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in Vietnam. The fact that disabled people and underprivileged children live together as a family is a unique feature of Maison Chance. Accommodation, medical care (including physical therapy), education, and vocational training are all provided at no cost. Furthermore, disadvantaged children and people with physical disabilities have access to education, vocational training, and employment opportunities. Maison Chance is designed to help disadvantaged people and children recover and re-entry back to society. At Maison Chance, the proverb "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime" is constantly put into practice.
Description
The Maison Chance’s activities take place in four locations: The Shelter (accommodation), Take Wing Center (vocational training - job creation), Village Chance (primary school and adapted apartments for the disabled), and Maison Chance Social Center in Dak Nong province (accommodation, medical care, primary school, special needs classes, vocational training, and organic agriculture).
