Crossroads Hospice is looking to recruit and train volunteers that are interested in helping us build connections with our facility partners and having more eyes on our patients in facilities! Some of the main tasks will be:
- Volunteer assigned to a specific facility where the volunteer will set a usual day/time to visit weekly
- During visits the volunteer will check in with the facility nurse and ask provided questions and then the volunteer will put eyes on each one of our patients in that facility
- Communicate any pertinent and emergent info immediately following visit
- Educate on volunteer services and pass along any Crossroads questions to Volunteer Manager
