More Trees Together is seeking a social media manager. We are actively growing our organization and with it our media presence needs to be reworked. This volunteer should be able to make weekly updates to social media and create content for both Instagram and Facebook. Reels, stories and posts on Instagram and Facebook will need to be reviewed before posted. Familiarity with Dropbox or Google Photos and strong communication skills are a must by email and WhatsApp. Check out or website www.moretreestogether.com and our Instagram @moretreestogether to get an idea of our work. Any base level of Kiswahili would be very useful because of our work in Kenya. We are looking for a thoughtful and passionate person that excels at community outreach. Our mission is to empower communities with tools to build resilience. More Trees Together (an environmental nonprofit 501(c)(3)) stimulates economic growth in communities through reforestation projects.
Description
More Trees Together has planted over 100,000 trees in the last two years of its conception. We have had planting events in multiple countries including; Kenya, USA, and Costa Rica. Our team has donated biodegradable bags through out several communities in different parts of the world. As of right now, More Trees Together is affiliated with 30 different community groups. There are 14 nurseries (4 of which are our chrildens nurseries) with 200-5,000 seedlings each, all in biodegradable bags.
