Join the Youth Climate Action Team's Press branch to get involved with writing for the bi-monthly newsletter of a non-profit organization! With flexible deadlines, creative freedom, and leadership opportunities, this is a great way to advocate for the protection of our Earth while expanding your writing skills. Writers will be assigned to either write a news piece (150-200 words) or a blurb encouraging the public to sign a petition (50-75 words), both surrounding an assigned theme. Your work as part of the newsletter will be sent out to all of our email subscribers and published on our official website!

Mission Statement
Youth Climate Action Team Inc. (YCAT) bridges the gap between non-climate groups and the climate movement by fostering student and non-climate group involvement in intersectional climate action to consolidate efforts against the climate crisis.
Description
We are an international youth-powered 501(c)(4) climate justice advocacy nonprofit organization that spans every inhabited continent and over 30 countries. We work with mainly students and organizations indirectly tied to the climate crisis-civic engagement, women empowerment, youth service groups, etc.-to expand the climate movement by bringing in new groups and offer accessible, diverse intersectional climate action opportunities.
