ORGANIZATION: A FATHER S LEGACY INCORPORATED

The grant writer will be responsible for creating applications for funding. This would include the applications to foundations, trusts, or governments to solicit funding for our cause. The candidate will be responsible for supporting grant application process by managing application requirements, gathering relevant program details, and assisting with the writing process.

Candidate will be responsible for monitoring progress against grant commitments and communicating grant reporting deadlines and coordinate collection of information needed to meet reporting requirements. The position is crucial to the organization, since the performance of a grant writer may be directly influential for the amount of money collected.

A Father's Legacy (AFL), Inc., offers education and services uniquely tailored for adolescent students who become fathers to make positive decisions for themselves and their child(ren). The intent is to offer adolescent students and families support as they negotiate the challenges of balancing their academics, their identity, and the role of a father.

Description

A Father's Legacy, Inc., is a start-up non-profit organization conceived in 2023 to advocate for children with the aim of educating and resourcing responsible parenting for adolescent students (ages 15-21), recognizing their impactful role in shaping a child's well-being. To promote responsible fathering at the root through early engagement by providing authentic coaching the resources that will build stronger foundations for healthier relationships for children by including the father.
