Resilience, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the mental health of students, as well as reducing mass shootings, suicide, and depression. Resilience, Inc also works to combat declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues.

Our organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through five core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting, and effective decision-making. Resilience, Inc. also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, and overall well-being.

Resilience offers Volunteer programs that require at least a 4 month commitment with a minimum of 5 hours per week. There are flexible start and end dates with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement

There is the opportunity to earn school credit. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position.

As a Project Manager yousupport the project management team in planning, executing, and closing projects. This role involves assisting with project coordination, maintaining timelines, and facilitating communication among team members. Volunteers in this position may contribute to project documentation, track progress, and help identify and resolve issues that arise during project implementation. This volunteer program provides valuable exposure to project management methodologies, tools, and the dynamics of working in a team-oriented environment. It offers an opportunity for hands-on learning in organizing tasks, managing resources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities and Activities:

- Assist the SG&C Director to prepare reports; needs assessments; and evaluations, related to the Resilience’s self-governance activities; support in documenting import/export processes and procedures; monitors attendance during weekly and monthly meetings; aid in ensuring that all staff members are offboarded, according to Resilience’s policies and procedures. - Leading project teams to implement plans, monitor progress, and ensure tasks are completed on time.

- Facilitating communication among team members and management to ensure everyone is informed and aligned.

- Monitoring project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.

- Maintaining project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes.

Requirements:

- Experience using Zoom

- Proficiency in Google Drive and Docs for documenting and sharing information.

- Strong problem-solving and technical skills.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.

- This individual should be proficient in English

- Available to attend and take notes during Bi-Weekly Leadership meetings (Sundays) and Monthly Division Meetings.

- Prefer candidates who live in EST or CST.
