The 2024 July WRAP Fun Day is an annual event that provides an opportuity to bring our community of West Highland White Terrier ("Westie") families/friends together. We encourage our attendees to take a walk, play in a fenced area, buy dog/human merchandise, pose for photos, participate in a parade of rescue dogs and share in a potluck lunch.
We are looking for folks that can help us with set up (e.g., bins, tables, exercise pens, canopies, etc.), assist with the activities (e.g., walk, parade, photography, sales, lunch) and/or clean up (e.g., bins, tables, exercise pens, canopies, etc.). More importantly, we are looking for volunteers that are energetic and love dogs!
The funds we raise will be used to support the surrender, veterinary care, fostering, and adoption of Westies in Northern California

Description
We are a non-profit, all volunteer organization which was formed to rescue West Highland White Terriers ("Westies") and find them safe, loving and permanent homes. We serve the Westie rescue needs of Northern California from the Central Valley to the Oregon border. We are not a shelter and have no facility. The Westies that are rescued by our program are placed directly into their new permanent home or into a private foster home while completing the adoption process. Before placement, our rescued Westies receive a complete checkup from a licensed veterinarian and receive necessary vaccinations/treatments (including spaying and neutering) prior to being placed in an adoptive home.
