Our mini day camps include a variety of activities including but not limited to learning horsemanship skills, horse sense & safety, grooming, riding, outdoor games, arts & crafts, and spending time in community together. Whether you have horse experience or not, you can play a vital role in making this mini camp possible. We will provide any training necessary prior to the scheduled event so you feel comfortable in your role.

Rising Light Ridge, a ministry of the Tim Tebow Foundation, is a community of belonging where individuals of all backgrounds and abilities can experience Faith, Hope and Love surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation. We believe in the powerful connection between horses and humans. Through therapeutic riding, horsemanship lessons, and equine-assisted activities, we provide life-changing experiences for children and adults alike. Our dedicated volunteers play a vital role in making our programs possible and enriching the lives of our participants.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 16
  • Orientation or Training
  • Arrive at 8:30 for a 9:00am start time. The program ends at 2:00pm. Help cleaning up from the day before leaving would be appreciated.
  • If you are over the age of 18 and volunteer duties involve working with children, you will be required to obtain a Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Criminal Background History, and FBI Clearance.
