Senior Care Home Entertainment (SCHE) is a non-profit dedicated to overcoming loneliness and depression in senior care homes by fostering joy and connection through entertainment. We're looking for a skilled Volunteer Website Designer to join our team and build a user-friendly and engaging website!

In this role, you'll:

• Collaborate with the digital marketing manager to design a visually appealing and user-friendly website for SCHE.
• Utilize your knowledge of web design principles to create a layout that is easy for seniors and their families to navigate.
• Design prototype mockups in Figma for web development
• Maintain and update the website design regularly, ensuring optimal user experience.
• Stay up-to-date on web design trends and best practices relevant to non-profit organizations.

We're looking for someone who:

• Possesses a strong portfolio showcasing web design skills and a user-centric approach.
• Able to design websites mockups in Figma
• Has experience with website creation platforms like WordPress (a plus).
• Knowledge of how coding languages of HTML, CSS and Javascript works so you can work with a web developer
• Is passionate about senior well-being and understands the importance of accessible web design.
• Can volunteer a minimum of 5 hours per week.
• Is available for weekly virtual team meetings
