StormFest Volunteer: Inspire the next generation of environmental stewards

StormFest is an outdoor stormwater learning event for Highline Public Schools 6th grade students taking place June 4-6 at Des Moines Beach Park. We are seeking volunteers (18 years or older) to help event staff keep activities on schedule, running smoothly and full of fun! Volunteer for any or all of the event dates!

Why should you volunteer?

• It is a great opportunity to meet new like-minded people, build a community, network and be a role model for students
• This is an excellent volunteer activity for groups, families, communities and individuals
• Gain valuable, hands-on experience teaching environmental science to youth (great resume builder!)
• StormFest provides people a chance to interact with other local environmental professionals
• StormFest provides an opportunity to connect with the next generation of environmental stewards in Burien, Des Moines, Normandy Park and SeaTac
