Cat Shelter Fundraiser

Our small free-roam, cat-only shelter is looking for someone with experience in fundraising and a passion for helping animals in need. We do not receive any federal funding so rely on our team members and volunteers to bring in the funds to care for our residents. In this volunteer position, you will have the opportunity to put forward your own fundraising ideas as well as working with a team to put ideas into action. Typical activities will include brainstorming, event planning, venue searching, calling businesses and restaurants, completing various tasks with the team, etc. Volunteering with us is a great resume builder and rewarding in and of itself to help save the animals in our community.

It shall be the mission of the Humane Society of South Brevard to rescue, shelter, and place homeless cats in loving homes, to care for all those sheltered until they find homes or until the end of the ninth life, and to secure the support necessary to continue, improve and build services in our community.
