About IterateUX

IterateUX is an inclusive, community-based non-profit organization dedicated to supporting User Experience designers-students and professionals alike-around the world. We provide world-class, hands-on learning programs that enhance hard and soft skills in the design field. These programs promote critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity.

Driven by designers for designers, we offer a flexible platform for learning UX research, UX and UI design, user-centered design skills, as well as leadership, collaboration, and presentation skills.

We are currently seeking an Event Support/Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post-Event Support: Download event videos and compile necessary information for the Production team.
  • Pre-Event Preparation: Assist Coordinators with all aspects of event setup.
  • Event Moderation: Serve as a Moderator during events to ensure smooth execution.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Manage event announcements on Discord.
    • Send confirmation letters to speakers.
    • Schedule speakers using Google Calendar.
    • Issue recording notices to relevant parties.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in weekly meetings with the event team to ensure alignment and address any issues.

Requirements:

  • Interest in learning about digital event planning.
  • Comfortable reaching out to people on social media platforms, such as LinkedIn.
  • Preferably Located in North America or as close to the PST time zone as possible (Canada or USA).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with your team.
  • Minimum commitment of 3 months.
  • Available 8-10 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
