Televerde Foundation's programs provide currently and formerly incarcerated women with the personal and professional development programs necessary to successfully join and advance in the global workforce, thereby providing them the opportunity to break the generational cycle of poverty and recidivism while enabling them and their children to achieve their dreams.

Mock Interviews are conducted several times a year with Televerde Foundation participants who are in PATHS reentry preparing to transition home. The great thing about Mock Interviews is that they give the women the ability to practice their interviewing skills, receive and implement feedback, and build confidence. Scheduling is easy as well, we schedule these 30-minute, 100% virtual (over zoom) sessions for the entire first week in June. This means that your volunteers will be able to choose one to three dates that are open for them (depending on how many sessions they want to volunteer for). We provide an interview guide and ask that volunteers provide feedback so that the participants have the opportunity to implement and perfect their interviewing skills.

This is one example only - our mock interview sessions are 30 minutes long each and volunteers can sign up for as many sessions as they would like to.

Mission Statement

Provide currently and formerly incarcerated women with the personal and professional development programs necessary to successfully join and advance in the global workforce. Our approach inspires creativity, imagination, self-confidence, and social skills while addressing issues that cause recidivism. We enable women to break the generational cycle of poverty and incarceration by becoming positive role models to change the lives of future generations and build stronger communities

Description

In 2020, Televerde Foundation was launched to deliver a robust workforce development program that focuses on personal wellness, workplace readiness, employment strategies, financial literacy, lifelong learning and mentoring. We call this the PATHS Program: Prepare Achieve and Transform for Healthy Success.

Joblessness is the #1 predictor of recidivism. That’s why our programs focus on preparing women to enter the global workforce and include personal wellness, workplace readiness, employment strategies, financial literacy, lifelong learning and mentoring.
