Seeds To Flowers, Inc is a not for profit organization that empowers girls and their families through education, personal development and education. Seeds To Flowers, Inc has worked throughout NYC for over 10 years focusing on girls who have experienced complex trauma. We have worked in various schools and communities such as East New York and Brownsville Brooklyn. We envision a world where girls and their families can thrive. We believe in getting to the need behind the need. We offer trauma informed groups, leadership courses, college prep, parenting courses, case management and counseling services.


Expectations

Board meetings are quarterly with two in person and 2 virtual meetings. Typically about 2 hours in the evening to accommodate working professionals.

Serve on, or lead at least 1 committee. (Meets monthly/as needed). Current committees, Marketing & Communication, Events, Membership (forming).

Execute Strategic Plan in concert with board and staff. We have a one year strategic plan to help us overcome our current challenges. We're happy to chat more with prospective members to see if these challenges excite you.

Represent Seeds To Flowers, Inc at organization programs & events and within the community. Be our ambassador! Attend our events, stop in to our recurring programs, and represent us in local events like the various community events.
