The Front Cashier and Customer Service Associates are an integral part of the Miriam Switching Post team. Front Cashier and Customer Service Associates greet customers when they arrive, as they are ready to check out, scan items, ensure that prices and quantities are correct, and collect payments. They also assist customers by explaining or recommending items, answering questions, and explaining the benefit of their purchase to the kids of Miriam. Ultimately, you’ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction. Other duties include answering the phone when staff is busy, greeting callers, establishing reason for calling, and answering questions regarding inventory or resolving issue by contacting appropriate person that can help the customer.

Miriam Switching Post is an upscale resale boutique selling gently used furniture, home décor, jewelry, art, antiques, and collectibles. The Switching Post raises needed funds to support Miriam’s mission of empowering unique learners.
Description
All proceeds from Miriam Switching Post support Miriam’s Variable Tuition Program, which provides financial assistance to our students and families. Because the Switching Post is staffed almost entirely by volunteers, there is very low overhead which allows more money to be attributed to our programs.
