Are you an athlete, parent, or passionate community member who believes in kids, inclusion, and purpose? This summer, you can be the reason a child discovers their strength-not just on the track, but in who they are.
RODS Heroes is launching new Run Club locations for Summer 2025-and we’re looking for dedicated Run Club Captains to lead the way.
About the Program: Heroes Club is an 8-week inclusive running program designed to help kids build confidence, set goals, and raise awareness and funds for orphaned children with Down syndrome. It runs Monday-Friday for just 30 minutes a day-but the impact lasts a lifetime.
About RODS Heroes: RODS Heroes is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to uncover the superpowers of individuals with Down syndrome-by inspiring adoption, empowering families, and showing the world just how extraordinary this community truly is.
Captain Responsibilities:
Launch and lead your own local Heroes Club (we’ll help!)
Recruit participants, co-captains, and parent volunteers
Set up and clean up your daily run space (minimal effort)
Track runner miles and cheer kids on as they unlock milestone prizes
Support your team’s efforts to raise funds for RODS Heroes’ adoption grants
Whether you're in it for the miles, the mission, or the memories-you’ll be part of something meaningful. You’ll be helping kids of all abilities run toward something bigger: belonging, empowerment, and hope.

Description
Heroes Club, powered by RODS Heroes, is a summer running program for kids to achieve running goals and get caught up in a cause. This inclusive club for all abilities, demographics, and backgrounds invites children to run for awareness and funds for RODS Heroes’ core mission to inspire families to answer the call to adopt children with Down syndrome or other unique circumstances. RODS Heroes Headquarters is in Utah, but Heroes Club can be started in any location nationwide.
