RODS Heroes, a 501(c)(3) organization, is launching the summer 2024 season of Heroes Club with new locations! If you are ready to experience an unforgettable summer by starting a new location, apply now!

Heroes Club is an inclusive club for all abilities, demographics, and backgrounds that invites children to run for awareness and raise funds for RODS Heroes. RODS Heroes is a decade-old non-profit whose mission is to inspire families to answer the call to adopt a child with Down syndrome or other unique circumstances. In the last decade, RODS Heroes has inspired the adoption of over 100 children into loving, forever families.

Description

Heroes Club, powered by RODS Heroes, is a summer running program for kids to achieve running goals and get caught up in a cause. This inclusive club for all abilities, demographics, and backgrounds invites children to run for awareness and funds for RODS Heroes’ core mission to inspire families to answer the call to adopt children with Down syndrome or other unique circumstances. RODS Heroes Headquarters is in Utah, but Heroes Club can be started in any location nationwide.

  • Orientation or Training
  • This program happens for 7 weeks in the summer Monday-Friday in the morning.
  • Assist in recruiting participants, co-captain(s), and parent volunteers Minimal daily set-up and clean up Track runner miles and encourage kids to hit their milestones for prizes Help your club hit team fundraising goals.
