Help with Youth Employment Program

We have an exciting new opportunity that is easy if you like talking on the phone. You will not be sellinganything. Really its more gathering information and the call will not last long. Please be good at taking notes, and don't be afraid to ask the person to repeat the information.

We are starting a youth employment program. All you need to do is call business (place we go to as we go about our daily lives) to see if they would give a job to a young person ages 14 - 26.

We will create a list and all you would need to do is call as ask for the person in change of staffing, this person could be human resources, a director, a manager, a supervisor, or the owner. You will tell the person that you are representing Choices In Action, a local non-profit with a youth employment program and that you are gathering information to find out where there are jobs for youths. You can also contact businesses that advertise on social media (we will not have a list for that).

You will ask:

1) The name of the person you are speaking with
2) Would you be willing to hire a youth (give the age)? The age depend on the job
3)Then let them know the CEO of Choices in Action, Dr. Brito will make contact to talk more about the program

There are two programs
Summer youth May - August ages 14-16 (Summer 2025)
Full time or part time employment for ages 17 - 26 (Ready to hire or Hire later 2024)

We only need 2 hours a day 2 days a week between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
Yes, weekends are available because some businesses are open, but realistically M-F 9 to 5 will work best.
